Some dreams are born in comfort, while others are shaped through resilience and determination.
For Neha Arun Kore, dance has never been just an art form—it is a powerful expression, a universal language, and a lifelong purpose.
Growing up in the 1990s, when dance was rarely considered a respectable career path and opportunities for women in performing arts were limited, Neha faced significant societal challenges and discouragement. Despite these obstacles, her passion for dance remained unwavering.
From an early age, she carried a strong belief:
If dance can bring joy, confidence, and transformation, why should it not be valued as a meaningful profession?
This belief became the foundation of her journey.
Born and raised in **Sambhajinagar **, Neha began teaching and choreographing students at the remarkable age of 15. Her dedication and talent soon earned her recognition on prestigious platforms such as the Ellora Festival, Rotary Competitions, Garba Festivals, Indian Express Competitions, along with numerous state and national-level events.
While accolades and awards marked her success, Neha’s vision extended far beyond trophies and recognition.
She dreamed of building a platform where dance would be respected as a profession, talent would be nurtured without judgment, and every individual would feel empowered to express themselves through movement.
Driven by this vision, she founded Dance O Mania in 2016.
What began as a small initiative with a handful of students has evolved into one of Pune’s most respected dance academies, with over 5,000 trained students and a growing legacy of excellence.
Under Neha’s leadership, Dance O Mania has been recognized as one of the Best Dance Academies in Pune, receiving appreciation and recognition from renowned personalities such as Jackie Shroff, Dia Mirza, Remo D’Souza, and Madhuri Dixit.
Through large-scale performances, competitions, and special events, she has also created opportunities for dancers to showcase their talent in front of celebrated artists including Shreyas Talpade, Sonali Kulkarni, Udit Narayan, and many more.
Despite her remarkable achievements, Neha’s philosophy remains deeply rooted in simplicity and purpose:
Having personally experienced the struggle of pursuing dance in an environment where it was often misunderstood, Neha chose to become the mentor she once needed.
Today, through Dance O Mania, she continues to inspire thousands of aspiring dancers, empower women, nurture talent, and encourage individuals to pursue dance with confidence and purpose.
Her mission extends beyond teaching choreography. She is dedicated to transforming the perception of dance—from being seen as merely a hobby to being recognized as a respected and rewarding profession.
Through structured training, mentorship, performance opportunities, and career guidance, Neha Arun Kore is shaping the next generation of artists and leaders.
Her journey is more than the story of a dancer.
It is the story of a visionary who turned passion into purpose, challenges into strength, and dreams into a movement.
And this is only the beginning.
